NHF Holland Bamboo 6k Fun Run / Walk

Encouraging Jamaicans To Get Active

The Holland Bamboo 6K is one of five road races in the Grand Prix Series leading up to the signature Reggae Marathon. Last year the Holland Bamboo 6K was the largest of the Grand Prix Series with over 800 participants.

This year's 6k run / walk will be held on Sunday, November 8 2009 at 3:30pm. Participants in this race run through the beautiful bamboo grove, which covers the roadway from Lacovia to New Holland Football Field in St. Elizabeth.

The organizers expect this year's event to be even bigger than last year, and is encouraging persons interested in this road race to register early. Application forms are available from the NHF, the Art Printery, Burger King and the JAAA Office.
