Each year there are approximately 2.7 million visits to the public health system, resulting in the generation of over 2 million prescriptions. In addition there are nearly 200,000 admissions to hospital also requiring pharmaceutical care.
Our aim is to reduce waiting time for both in-patients and out patients seeking to fill their public sector prescriptions, improve customer satisfaction and provide up to 80% of the VEN List items required.
We have designed several services for customer convenience. These include, for out-patients, our groundbreaking Quick Prescript App either via smart phone or kiosks at selected locations, scheduled refill service and priority service for certain patients. Our Mobile Dispensing Unit for in-patient service is currently being piloted in three (3) hospitals. This service provides fast service at the patients’ bedside to ensure quick start to treatment.
