Without it, I would not have been able to sit my final set of examinations and would have been delayed by at least six months.” The now Dr Turner was proud to inform us that she has completed her studies.
And then there’s Lorenzo Blake. Facing deregistration just before a major exam period, he received the EduCare Grant just in time. This crucial support allowed him to focus on his preparation and qualify to sit his final exams.
Blake, Turner, and McDermott are just a few examples of how the NHF has been a lifeline for students needing it most.
