1. Eat Healthy

If the bag of chips or bottle of soda is not there, you are more likely to reach for a snack from the fruit basket or for water. Eat more fruits and vegetables and reduce salty foods to lower your chances of getting heart disease.
Ensure you have a substantial breakfast. Eating a good breakfast will help your blood sugar levels stay close to normal and it helps to control your weight.

Replace some of your tea or coffee with green tea. It is rich in substances that slow down aging and helps prevent prostate cancer. Green tea also helps with weight loss.

The amount and type of food you need depends on the type of work you do. If you have an office job you need a smaller amount of starches such as rice and flour.

Park further away from your office entrance or get off the bus one bus stop earlier and walk the rest of the way to work. Walk over to someone's desk rather than talk to them on the phone

The amount of sleep you need to function well may be different from another man who is the same age as you. On average healthy adults need seven to eight hours of sleep every night. Go to bed early.

4. Get check-ups regularly
Get an annual check-ups to identify problems early.
Remember in the early stages some diseases have no symptoms. If not treated early diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease will damage your physical health including your sex life.
Get checked for chronic diseases especially those that run in your family.
Every Jamaica Man should get their prostate checked beginning at age 40.When you discover prostate cancer early and treat it immediately you are less likely to have problems with your sex life.
5. Take medication as prescribed

- Use weekly labelled pill containers.
- Set a reminder on your phone to take your medication.
- Ask a friend or relative to remind you to take your medication.
- Place reminder notes to yourself where you will see them.
- Keep your medication where you will always see it.
