INTERIM ARRANGEMENT IN PLACE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE NATIONAL HEALTH FUND

Mr. Aubrey Blair, VP Finance & Corporate Affairs of the National Heath Fund (NHF), is to cover the desk of the NHF’s Chief Executive Officer, effective August 16, 2010, for a period of one month in the first instance.

The CEO was sent on leave to facilitate an audit of the NHF, by the Auditor General’s Department. The Minister of Health, Hon. Rudyard Spencer had requested the audit in light of the findings of an internal audit carried out by the Ministry of Health indicating that there was inappropriate use of a government issued credit card to the Chief Executive Officer of the NHF.

Mr. Blair has been serving as VP Finance & Corporate Affairs for the NHF since its inception in 2003.
