OPENING HOURS EXTENDED AT THE DRUG SERV PHARMACY AT KITSON TOWN HEALTH CENTRE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KINGSTON, Jamaica … April 21, 2021 –The National Health Fund Drug Serv Pharmacy located at the Kitson Town Health Centre is now a full-service pharmacy, effective Monday, April 19, 2021. The new opening hours for the pharmacy are now Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It was previously opened on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only.
CEO of the NHF, Mr. Everton Anderson said, “The decision was made to extend the opening hours at Kitson Town Health Centre Drug Serv Pharmacy, in order to meet the rising demand for pharmacy services in St. Catherine and its environs and is a timely measure in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. This move will make medication services more accessible to our customers bringing the services closer to home for these residents.”
Public patients are being reminded to use the NHF’s Alternative Services Options such as the Drop Off and Pick-up Services, Quick Prescript App, Scheduled Refill and the Home Delivery Services to fill their prescriptions in order to reduce waiting time at Drug Serv pharmacies.
