NHF COMMUNITY HEALTH DAY MOVES TO ST. ANN
The National Health Fund will be taking its Community Health Day to Brown?s Town, St. Ann at the Anglican Church Hall, this Thursday June 16, 2005, beginning at 10 a.m.
Representatives from the NHF will be on hand to accept applications for the NHF Health Card for All Ages, and the Jamaica Drug for the Elderly (JADEP) Health Card, for persons sixty years old and over.
A number of tests will be offered free of charge at the Community Health Day to help individuals know their health status. These include checks for blood circulation, blood sugar, blood pressure, blood cholesterol, screening for eye problems and ECG tests. Diabetics will be offered foot care free of charge.
All residents of Browns Town and surrounding communities are invited.
