NHF HANDS OVER COMPUTERS AND PHARMACEUTICAL EQUIPMENT TO WRHA

Refurbished pharmacies, computers with software and pharmaceutical equipment valued J$4.8 million were officially handed over to the Western Regional Health Authority (WRHA) recently.

The Hand-Over Ceremony was held at Falmouth Hospital and attended by health officials across the region, friends of the Falmouth Hospital, representatives from the political directorate and a team from the NHF, led by Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Rae Barrett.

The donation is part of the mandate by the National Health Fund (NHF) in provide support to the public health system. The NHF is providing support to public sector pharmacies to ensure that they improve the quality of their services to the public and are able to handle the increased volume of patients and meet the standards required to provide this expanded service.
