RESULTS – NHF PORTMORE 5K WALK/RUN & BIKEATHON

286 persons completed the second National Health Fund, NHF Portmore 5K Walk/Run & Bikeathon on Sunday May 15, 2010. Mrs. Rosemarie Lee, Information Manager, NHF says, “This is more than twice the number of persons who participated during our first year when 121 persons completed the event in 2009.” NHF is very happy with the growth in numbers and we look forward to an even bigger event next year as we seek to provide opportunities for persons to be more physically active in their neighbourhoods, Mrs. Lee said.

The route for the NHF 5K Walk/Run will began at Portmore Drive and ran through Westchester Drive, Redwood Avenue, Benbow Avenue, Shenton Avenue, Germaine Road onto Bridgeport Road and Portmore Parkway and finished at the Portmore Heart Academy.
