Tender for Renovation of the Pharmaceutical Division Warehouse

Scope: Renovation of the Pharmaceutical Division Warehouse located at 78 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 13. The works include, but is not limited to: demolition, floor repairs, construction of delivery and loading bays, painting and minor electrical, mechanical, plumbing and air conditioning works. The estimated duration of the project is eight (8) months and it is anticipated that the successful bidder will be working days and nights for the duration of the project.

Eligibility: Bidders must submit with their bids a completed and signed Contractor's Bid Form, copy of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate and copy of registration with the National Contracts Commission in the Building Construction category, Grade 1 or above in order to participate. Bidders must also provide, as part of their bid, a Bid Bond in the amount of $800,000.00.

Site Visit: A site visit to discuss the requirements will be held at 10:00am on September 7, 2015. All potential eligible bidders are encouraged to attend.

Availability of Tender Document: As of August 31, 2015.

Format and Cost of Tender Document: Printed – from the address below 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday for $3,000.00 payable by cash or manager's cheque to the National Health Fund. Soft copy - www.nhf.org.jm no charge.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid closing and shall be deposited in the marked tender box located in the Receptionist area of the National Health Fund at the address above on or before 02:00pm on September 22, 2015. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened publicly on the same day at 2:15 p.m.
The National Health Fund reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid(s) or to re-tender, and to treat its request as a whole package or a part thereof.
