TENDER NOTICE
GENERAL INSURANCE PLACEMENT
National Health Fund
Tenders are invited from insurance companies and brokers which are pre-qualified by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) and registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) to provide insurance services to the National Health Fund.
Pre-qualified brokers and insurers will be required to submit in their tenders:
i) copies of valid Tax Compliance Letter/Certificate (TCL/TCC), indicating tax compliance at the time of submission of tenders;
ii) copies of PPC registration for the provision of insurance services, reflecting validity at the time of tender;
iii) A completed and signed Letter of Bid;
iv) A like-for-like proposal and a maximum of one alternative proposal;
v) All other documents as requested in the bid document.
Cover is required for the following classes of insurance:-
Commercial All Risks Loss of Money
Low Voltage & Electronic Equipment Goods in Transit
Employers Liability Professional Indemnity
Public/Products Liability Commercial Comprehensive Motor
Private Comprehensive Motor Motor Comprehensive – Special Type
Directors & Officers Liability Motor Contingent Liability
Fidelity Guarantee Insurance
The period of placement will be three years.
Tender packages become available as at Monday, August 17, 2020 and can be obtained from the address below, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for $3,000.00 in cash or manager’s cheque payable to The National Health Fund or Soft copy – www.nhf.org.jm no charge.

Each tender shall contain a summary of the risk(s) and shall be submitted in duplicate (two identical copies) in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the bidder and clearly addressed as follows;-

Tenders must be deposited in the tender box at: The Reception Area, National Health Fund, 6th Floor, the Towers, 25 Dominica Drive, Kingston 5.
The deadline for submission of tenders is 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
TENDERS SUBMITTED AFTER THIS TIME AND DATE WILL BE REJECTED.
Tenders will be opened at 3:15 p.m. in the Conference Room at the address above.
Recommendations for award(s) will not necessarily be made in favour of the lowest priced tender but the best overall proposal(s) as determined by the National Health Fund.
