PROCUREMENT OF NON-VEN LIST PHARMACEUTICALS
Scope: The periodic supply of pharmaceutical preparations for a 12-month contract period.
Procurement method: Local Competitive Bidding
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: FOR TENDERS TO BE CONSIDERED, BIDDERS MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:
- Copy of valid National Contracts Commission (NCC) Certification in the category of 'Medical, Pharmaceutical Equipment and Supplies'.
- Copy of valid Tax Compliant Certificate (TCC)
- Bid security, of 1% of the bid price. The bid security shall be in the form of a Bank Manager's cheque payable to the National Health Fund, or an unconditional banker's guarantee or bid bond.
- A completed and signed Bid Form
FORMAT AND COST OF TENDER DOCUMENT:
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of JMD 2,500.00 payable by cash or manager's cheque at the address given below as at February 10, 2015, from Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or download a soft copy from www.nhf.org.jm at no charge.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 160 days after bid closing and shall be deposited in the tender box located in the Reception Area of the National Health Fund Pharmaceutical Division at the address below on or before 2:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, March 10, 2015 addressed as follows:

Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address above 2:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
Bidders may quote on any one or more items under this tender. Each item shall be evaluated and the contract(s) awarded separately to the firm(s) offering the lowest evaluated price for each item. Some items will be shared in accordance with the criteria stated in the tender document. The National Health Fund reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposal(s) or to re-tender, and to treat its request as a whole package or a part thereof.
